The marina, Palmarina, is just a short stroll along the bay. Palmarina has a World class nightclub, the Billionaire Club, though this does not spoil the more relaxed ambiance of Yalikvak town. In Palmarina you will also be able to explore the narrow streets to find the boutiques, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and shops that stock many high quality designer goods.

The surrounding hills offer unique views over the bay and are ideal for long walks and picnics. A well known walk is to Sandima.

The beach runs around the bay and through the town centre, a lovely stroll, especially in the evenings. It is a narrow sand and pebble beach that never gets too crowded; you can always find a quiet spot. There are several bathing jetties to swim or fish from. Most bars and restaurants are alongside the beach and harbour, from which you can witness amazing sunsets. buy a few drinks and relax on the beach areas belonging to the restaurants, they are sandier areas.

The Harbour has a unique feel, very foreign, yet very friendly. Admire the boats as you have a gentle stroll around and watch them unloading their catch for you to enjoy at the many local restaurants. Near the harbour there is also a beautiful example of one of Yalikavak's windmills. It’s been fully renovated, and you can go inside and take a look around it's workings.

Shopping. The famous Thursday market, the biggest on the Peninsular of Turkey, is the place to go. Local weavings, kilims, holiday souvenirs, little windmills that are the symbol of Yalikavak, unique carpets of Turkey, hand made clothes, jewellery, watches, leather and just about anything else that you can think of.

Marina.

Palmarina, is located in a beautiful bay, providing some of the best sailing in Turkey. The new Palmarina Island now also hosts the famous Billionaire Club, a fabulous jet-set nightclub and Billionaire beach with 700 sqm seawater pool. Museum of underwater archaeology.

The museum is situated within the Castle of St.Peter, overlooking the bay of Bodrum. Give yourselves half a day to have a good look around the Castle. There ia much to do and see as well as a lovely walk around the castle walls. Best to visit in the morning to avoid the afternoon sun.
