The beach runs around the bay and through the town centre, a lovely stroll, especially in the evenings. It is a narrow sand and pebble beach that never gets too crowded; you can always find a quiet spot. There are several bathing jetties to swim or fish from. Most bars and restaurants are alongside the beach and harbour, from which you can witness amazing sunsets. buy a few drinks and relax on the beach areas belonging to the restaurants, they are sandier areas. |

The Harbour has a unique feel, very foreign, yet very friendly. Admire the boats as you have a gentle stroll around and watch them unloading their catch for you to enjoy at the many local restaurants. Near the harbour there is also a beautiful example of one of Yalikavak's windmills. It’s been fully renovated, and you can go inside and take a look around it's workings. |

Museum of underwater archaeology. The museum is situated within the Castle of St.Peter, overlooking the bay of Bodrum. Give yourselves half a day to have a good look around the Castle.
